Wgt: Mutlu muscles way to third gold medal

Turkey's HALIL MUTLU has muscled into the Olympic record books, claiming a third gold
medal to confirm his place among weightlifting's all-time greats.

The diminutive Turk has once again towered supreme over opponents in the 56kg weight
class, hoisting 135kg in the snatch and 160kg in the clean and jerk for a winning total
of 295kg.

China's WU MEIJIN, who won world championship titles in the division in 2002 and 2003,
was unable to halt the nine-year unbeaten run of the MUTLU and has settled for silver
with 287.5 kg.

SEDAT ARTUC of Turkey completed the podium, taking the bronze with 280kg.
