CRICKET INQUIRY (MELBOURNE)
The player conduct inquiry commissioned by the Australian Cricket Board has found
vice-captain SHANE WARNE and batsman MARK WAUGH should have been suspended and their fine made
public over their involvement with an Indian bookmaker.
WAUGH and WARNE were fined $10,000 and $8,000 respectively last year following an in-camera
inquiry into receiving money from the bookmaker for match and weather reports.
