Qld: No leads on man wanted for Brisbane murder and rape

BRISBANE, Jan 1 AAP - A massive four-day manhunt in Brisbane's south-west has failed
to find any trace of a man wanted for the murder of a woman and the rape of her daughter.

Despite a detailed description of the killer given by the 12-year-old rape victim,
police have not yet confirmed the identity of the man who struck a suburban Brisbane brothel
on Thursday night.

Police media spokesman Brian Swift said police investigations were relying on the public
