NSW: Woman detained after protest

Police have made more arrests and a woman has been injured .. in this morning's protest
against the three-day Sydney visit of US Vice-President DICK CHENEY.

About 50 protesters with banners and megaphones have rallied on inner city Essex Street.

A wall of police officers has blocked their access to a security parameter surrounding
the Shangri-La Hotel .. where Mr CHENEY's made a speech to an Australian American dialogue
group.

One witness says a group of police officers has attempted to single out two women ..
