Carolina Mudcats Add TuneIn Radio Mobile App to Their Lineup Card.

TuneIn Radio (formerly RadioTime) and the Carolina Mudcats Baseball Club, the Southern League (AA) affiliate of the Cincinnati Reds, announced the team will stream its live game day radio broadcasts to a dedicated station on TuneIn Radio, enabling fans to listen on their connected home and mobile devices. The Mudcats are the first professional baseball team to create an Internet radio stream exclusively for TuneIn Radio to complement its terrestrial radio broadcast. "The decision to make our radio broadcasts available on a mobile app was an obvious one, and so was partnering with TuneIn Radio because of the large user base and the fact that the app is available across such a wide variety of devices."

RadioTime and the TuneIn Radio app feature a directory of more than 50,000 AM/FM and Internet-only radio stations and podcasts airing in 140 countries and broadcasting in 55 different languages, the largest selection of any radio app. The TuneIn Radio mobile app is available for the iPhone, iPad and all devices running on the Android, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry and webOS operating systems, as well as a wide range of connected home audio devices and televisions.

"Baseball and radio have a long history together, and we believe this partnership will mark a significant milestone in that history," said Bill Moore, founder, TuneIn Radio. "Generations of baseball fans have followed their teams by listening to the great radio broadcasters like Vin Scully, Jack Buck and John Sterling. We expect teams across all professional sports to follow the Mudcats' lead."
